Creasti ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Creasti mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: email address and display name when you create an account.
- Financial goal data: savings goals, deposit amounts, and target amounts you enter in the app. We do not access your bank accounts unless you explicitly connect them.
- Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and behavioral patterns to improve your experience.
- Receipt data: if you use the receipt scanner, we process receipt images locally and store extracted merchant, amount, and category data in your account.
- Device information: device type and operating system for app compatibility purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize the Creasti savings experience.
- To power the AI coach with context relevant to your savings habits.
- To track your streaks, XP, and savings health score.
- To send you deposit reminders and streak protection notifications (only if you enable them).
- To improve the app through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication), which is protected by Google's enterprise-grade security infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
Creasti uses the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase: authentication, database, and analytics.
- Anthropic Claude API: powers the AI savings coach. Messages sent to the coach are processed by Anthropic's API. We do not share your name or email with Anthropic.
- Google ML Kit: processes receipt images locally on your device for text recognition. Images are not sent to Google servers.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion through the app, we will process your request and delete your data within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
Creasti is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
